    All-Native Multiservice Packet Optical Transport System

    Compact All-Native multiservice packet optical transport system, for high capacity aggregation of TDM and Ethernet/MPLS services for metro networks​
     

    The XDM-500 is the compact version of the XDM-1000 converged All-Native multiservice packet optical platform. It offers unique convergence of PDH, SDH/SONET, ATM, carrier Ethernet, MPLS, All-Range WDM OTN and ROADM on a single and compact, topology-neutral, platform.  Supporting Ethernet/MPLS services, TDM services, and advanced WDM and ROADM functionality, the XDM-500 is part of ECI’s 1Net framework supporting smooth and cost-effective transition from TDM to packet. The XDM-500 addresses a broad range of applications, including wireless backhaul, carrier-of-carriers, MSOs, and residential triple play.

         Ethernet/MPLS, PDH, SDH/SONET, ATM, WDM OTN and multi-degree ROADM
         packed in a compact and highly adaptable, build-as-you-grow architecture,
         allowing for fast and cost-effective roll out of multiple services over multiple
         transport technologies
    Simple and efficient day-to-day operations: offering ECI’s Hybrid+, All-Native
         approach  for native handling of both TDM and Ethernet, avoiding cumbersome
         and costly encapsulation schemes
