Series of Metro Switch/Routers

Metro switch/routers for packet-based mobile backhaul and enterprise services, suited for access and aggregation sites in mobile RAN or fixed metro-access networks

The SR9604/SR9608 platforms efficiently consolidate the backhaul for 2G, 3G, LTE and WiMAX mobile networks. Part of the 1Net framework, they enable advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 enterprise services over fixed and mobile access networks. The platforms also scale to support residential triple play services, enabling full fixed/mobile convergence with guaranteed per-service performance. The SR9604 is the compact version, with a small physical footprint to further reduce the environmental impact of your network.

4G ready: Variety of synchronization schemes, efficient handling of TDM and
ATM and transport-grade OAM to provide next-generation all-IP mobile backhaul
End-to-end MPLS: Extend MPLS to the access and efficiently scale connection-
oriented Ethernet to tens of thousands of nodes
Service enabling: Simplified provisioning and SLA assurance empower you to tailor business
networking solutions for any enterprise size or application, from next-generation Layer 3  MPLS
IP VPNs and MEF-compliant Layer 2 VPNs to various legacy leased-line services, such as
     E1/T1 and STM-1/OC-3
