Presentation Abstract:
Until recently, IPTV was only discussed in the context of the most developed telecom markets. But why should India be left out? In this case study, we will show how a major Indian network operator partnered with ECI to provide IPTV services. We will discuss the challenges facing operators wanting to deploy IPTV in India, the key success factors and finally show how a strong partnership between network operator and equipment vendor can make all the difference toward the success of the project.
